Trifecta Solar provides solar panel service and repair for systems throughout our service area, whether we installed your system or not. From troubleshooting and repairs to expansions, roof replacement coordination, critter guard installation, and panel cleaning, we keep your system producing the way it was designed to.

We service solar systems no matter who installed them. If your system isn’t producing what it should, is showing errors, or you simply aren’t sure it’s working, give us a call.

Many solar installers have gone out of business over the years, leaving their customers abandoned without anyone to call for support. If your installer is no longer around, don’t hesitate to reach out. We can verify that your system is working as designed and perform any necessary repairs.

We also support older systems and systems that are out of warranty. Aging equipment doesn’t mean your system has reached the end of its useful life, and we can help keep it running and replace failed components.

System Upgrades and Expansions

Need more production than your current system provides? We’re happy to quote an expansion or upgrade to your existing system.

An expansion goes through the same engineering, permitting, and utility interconnection process as any new installation. We handle that process for you, just as we would for a new system.

Solar Removal and Reinstallation for Roof Work

Need roof repairs or a new roof? We can remove your solar system before the work begins and reinstall it once your new roof is in place.

We coordinate directly with your roofing contractor on timing, so your panels come off before the roofers arrive and go back up after the new roof is installed.

Critter Guard Installation

In Pennsylvania, squirrels are one of the biggest nuisances for rooftop solar. They like to nest in the sheltered space under the panels, where they can chew through wiring and damage equipment. That damage requires repairs and can mean replacing panels, and it is not covered under any warranty.

We can install a critter guard system around the perimeter of your panels to help keep squirrels from getting underneath. We recommend critter guard for any system near trees.

Critter guard is a deterrent, not a guarantee. It helps reduce the chance of squirrels nesting under your panels, but it can’t promise to keep every critter out.

Solar Panel Cleaning

Here in Pennsylvania, we generally get enough consistent, heavy rainfall to keep solar panels clean in most circumstances, so routine cleaning usually isn’t needed. Even spring pollen usually washes off with the next good rain.

If you have unusual conditions, like lots of nearby trees dropping leaves or sap on your panels, or older panels that hold onto dirt, and you’re concerned it’s affecting your system’s production, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
