Case Study – Danville Poultry Farm
139% Annual Electricity Offset
Project Notes
- 88 kW on a poultry house in Danville, Montour County PA.
- This system covers a section of one of two barns, and it will produce about 122,000 kWh a year. That’s
roughly 139% of the farm’s annual electric use. - 150 panels, six SolarEdge inverters, clean conduit runs, and a rapid shutdown setup done right.
- Poultry operations have some of the most demanding electric loads in agriculture, which makes them
some of the best solar candidates. - There’s plenty of roof left here. We’ll see what the next phase looks like.
